"The message to boaters is to be cautious if you're west of the Causeway. It's more than likely there will be floating material, such as logs, floating in the lake or right below the surface,"

I would think most of the debris will stay more on the south side of the lake. No stops in New Orleans this year so I don't see it being a problem.

We were out in the lake yesterday, between the Tchefuncte River and Pass Manchac and it was clear. This morning coming to work it looks as most of the debris is on the south shore. It didn't look like much, but i did see one huge gator!!!

Yep saw the water rushing under the bridge friday morning on my way from the airport. Talked to a few fisherman that said they were catching bass in the lake sat morning.

The water color doesn't bother me. As long as the debris field stays to the south. Let's hope for a North wind on Thursday and Friday to keep everything on the other side.

Warparty, we're counting on you guys bringing a good crew. We'll keep the gators chained to the back porch while you're here!! Nothing to worry about!!

P.S. Bring some E-Dock shirts witcha!!!

well , by the time the run date is here , the spillway will have been open for almost a month..

i just don't want to read of someone hitting a submerged log or something , i know alot of people launch from the south shore..
