Default Portable Boat Shelter

Looking for a 10 X 40 X 12 shelter in tan. Thought I was going to buy one from an internet vendor but the tan is too yellow and he is hard to get a hold of. I figure if I can't talk to him so he can sell me a product, I'll never get a hold of him if I have a warranty issue. Anyone know a good dealer/vendor?

Thanks Chris but I checked and they don't have the dimensions I need.

Are you looking for a budget solution or something nice? A few years back, I had one made-to-order by a local tent and awning company. It wasn't as expensive as I expected, it was exactly what we needed and the quality was much better.

Noticing you're in Arizona, I'm assuming you're mostly interested in sun shade. If budget is what you're after, why not use two of the WalMart/Sam's Club/Lowe's 10x20's? You can make them taller with standard thin-wall electrical conduit and the replacement tarps are cheap and available.

I bought mine through an internet vendor...they had green and white when I got mine.

It was sheltersofamerica.com and they have mine in green or gray (14x42x15). 2.5 years and everything is still good. (you will need to put barrier plastic down on the ground)

T500HPS- your shelter looks nice. I saw it several months ago while I was researching shelters.

Chris- I'm not trying to go bottom barrel, but was planning on spending somewhere around $2500 delivered. I need quality due to the intense sun here. My problem seems to be lack of tan colored tarps and I can't go higher than 12' so as not to piss off the neighborhood. Most heights go to 15' when you start looking at 40' long shelters.

I went to Menards last year and bought two 10 x 20 x 12 round top car enclosures. They are made by ShelterLogic #62667. Cost was less than $700 for the two.

THey have the larger ribs not the 1" ones more like 2 1/2". So they are not cheap.

I then took the two and bolted them back to back, so I now can enter from either side. I used a roll of bosen tape between the two so it does not leak at the joint.

Made it through a winter with no problem. The only thing is it is grey in color.

I owned one for a couple seasons. It was made by Cover-It which now appears to be Shelter Logic. It was erected at a boat storage lot, and I know of 4 owners of that shelter, and last time I checked sometime in 2007 it was still standing after 7 years.
