Question Owners manual

Does PowerQuest have owners manuals for their boats? I have a 2001, 280 Silencer and was told by the dealer that Powerquest does not have owners manuals for any of their boats.

I have not seen any from PQ. I did buy the mercrusier parts manual and service book for the Sterndrive. This gives you most of what you need parts break dwon and wiring diagrams as well as maintinence and service procedures. Other Items like tabs steering and stereos you can get from the respective manufacturers. I did get a little book from eliminator on my 236 eagle xp on safe operation but it was from mercury too.

That is true, I have bought 2 brand new PQ's. No manual, but every single component that is used and all the merc manuals have been included.

I have a large (nice) zippered bag that contained all the manuals on the equipment that was installed on my boat. If you think about it a big piece of fiberglass is the only thing that PQ is making. Other than saying wash it wax it and protect it ,that would be all that I could think of. Scott

Just had my 2002 Vyper delivered and PQ provides no "in house" manual like automobile manufacturers. In fact, no boat builder does... They should though!

I did receive a large blue PQ zip up file folder that had every manual from every piece of equipment that was installed including all of the engines and auxillary gear. It also contained all the warantty cards.

If you need something that is not there contact Mark Winia at PQ and he should be able to help. [email protected]

Hope that helps.
