Default New motors are almost done......

Ron Potter sent me a few pics yesterday.....here is one of them getting close. Just waiting for a few more items to come back from paint and they should be back at Double R to put back in the boat.
Can't wait!!!!!!!

Hey Jay, why the rebuilds? Were they tired or just the pursuit of more power?

Yes for sure keeping the closed cooling.
A little more power but not crazy....about 650 a side.
Wasn't planning on doing it but when the tops came off and the valves had cut into the lifters etc etc etc on both motors.......parts flying around inside don't hold up very long........rats!!!
Fill you both in better on June 7th!
Look forward to seeing you both soon...

dark purple, pulleys and fuel intection rails are going to be silver.......pretty much leaving it up to Ron, should look sharp.
