Default Tampa area restaurants

Hey Guys,
I am looking for a good place for dinner preferable next to the water.
Kid friendly
Great food
great service
I will be having around 15 people with me.
Can be in the Tampa / St.Pete area or even Palm Harbor

Thanks in advance.

Check out:

Island Way Grille-Clearwater 1/2 way to the beach after the causeway on the right-pricey but good, watch for Hulk Hogan he's a regular.

Crabby Bill's at Gulf to Bay near 275-midrange price

Rumba's-at Gulf to Bay and Keene in Clearwater.

Beach is mad crowded today, be warned.

Fresco's, adjacent to the St. Pete Pier...friendly, great food, nice view, awesome brand new docks.

If you'd like a great steak, in an over the top bordello-esque atomsphere, make reserveations at Bern's. Second best steak I've had in my life. I'm not a wine drinker, but it seems they have an amazing wine cellar too. Make sure to check out the desert room upstairs......

Island Way is very good but I prefer Salt Rock over IW. All of the above are good suggestions though. Bern's is not on the water and a bit overrated in my opinion. For a great steak away from the water I prefer Shula's (Tampa) or Texas Cattle Company (St Pete). Texas Cattle is pobably the best value steak anywhere. They are a sister rest to Charleys, same great product with a little lower price.

Thanks for the suggestions. Has anyone been to the Salt Rock Grill? If so what did you think.
