If my tank was leaking, I have always thought I would consider just cutting the top off and install a race blatter like an ATL. www.atlfuelcells.com
Considering the labor to R&R an aluminum tank, this seems like a good solution. A blatter would eliminate corrosion and it won't crack. Has anybody ever done this? What is the normal life cycle? Any issues?
