I read the other post on cleaning plastic, but did not want to hyjack it by asking there. What do I need to use on my baja's windshield. Thanks in advance!!!

Depending on how bad it is.... 3M finesse it does wonders with a buffer. I have polished many pieces up to better than new with finnesse. Keep in mind it is just a polish and contain no wax to protect the surface so a wax need to be added after.... But I have the shiniest plexi east of Bejing....

I did mine last year (smoke colored). Started wet sanding with 1500 grit, then sanded with 2000 grit and buffed with
3M finesse. Looks like new. Works great for cloudy headlights on your car too.

I just saw Mcguires has a plastic polish for the powerball. that would probably be fast and easy. Saw it at the auto parts store.

Thanks for all of the replies. I was just worried about using something that will tear it up. It has a big warning sticker on it about scratching it up real bad if used with the wrong stuff. Thanks again!!!

You can buy an acrylic repair kit from an online aquarium supply site. It has sandpaper that goes from 3500 to 12,000 grit. If you feel lucky, you could even flame polish!!

I wish this stuff would work on Polycarbonate

Do any of these products state that they work on Lexan? That is a polycarbonate - if they do, you should be good to go.
