Default 7.4 Injectors

Too tired to look it up. Whats the flow rate of the 7.4 injectors?

Anyone know of a decent replacement? My frined had his cleaned and flowed. One was dead, 3 were so low they barely could flow.

I have no idea how his boat was running with these.

We'll take used if you have them.

Thanks,

Kirk

Kirk,

I dont know if they are the same but I have a set of 8 that were taken off my 502. They were cleaned and flowed and have never been run since. Let me know.

We're not talking about the 7.4 L29 injectors here, are we?

The 454 shares injectors with 502's and even with newer 350's and 6.2's, if that may be to any help.

Rob -

What do you want for them?

Does anyone know if they are the same for the 7.4 310 HP as the 502?

Kirk,
$150 for all 8. I paid more than that to have them cleaned/flowed. Let me know.

I thought 502 mags were 42# and all the others including 500HPs were 36#

Kirk, I just checked on mercruiserparts.com and they are the exact same part#'s for the 7.4mpi, 454mag mpi and 502mag mpi.....as long they are in the SAME year/serial number ranges.

Injector part # is 805225A1. It looks like it is for 1998 and earlier with serial#'s OL085432 or earlier.

Serial numbers and years after that use part #861260T. It probably has something to with the generation of mefi used.
