first time poster here, looking at express cruisers, under 200k, I can get an 01 donzi 39 zsc or an 06 fountain 38 express cruiser, both around 200k...both powered by merc 496 mags. I like the wider beam of the donzi, but I like the fact that the fountain is 5 years newer. any input is appreciated, thanks, Mark

Both are very tough resale. I'm 51/49 Fountain vs. Donzi resp'. Both will do the same job equally well. 200K seems strong for those boats

thanks Dolla..those are 'asking prices"..if anyone has either of these boats for sale, let me know, the 01 donzi is 199 asking, the 06 fountain is asking 185..what shoud i pay..both have around 100 hours..

Mark - Mike Flanigan of Lightning Bay Performance Marine in St. Pete has a 39 Donzi ZSC. I would call him and ask him his opinion of the boat - from what he has told me, he loves it. Mike would be able to give you the positives and negatives of it. Lightning Bay's telephone no. is 727-578-0880.

The Donzi Resale is bad because they never made very many of them if you look the Fountain express is a sweet boat I think I know the boat you are looking at and its very very nice. Those guys have had th boat for a bit and they have it priced very aggressive.

Buy a Formula 370SS or 400SS.... better resale and very nice...

400ss is the way to go. some speed and plenty of comfort and it is not hard to trailer

Not hard to trailer with a Kenworth but how about a F150?
