Default Need spark plug and prop reccomendation, 28 pantera T-EFI502

I searched, and didn't find much info pertinent to the setup I have, so here I am. Thanks in advance.

The boat has twin EFI 502s with Brodix heads and stainless marine headers... What plugs should I use for max performance and efficiency? Will a projected nose plug work with these heads?

As far as props go, if you had to guess the most appropriate pitch prop for a roughly 900 HP 28 Pantera with this power package, what would you reccommend? I had the option of taking the stock bravo 1 26p's that we used on the sea trial or a set of stock bravo 1 24p's. The previous owner felt it was overpropped with the 26's as it would only turn 4600RPM or so.

I was advised to grab the 24p's, which I did.

Thoughts?

I'm a novice, just learning, so any info is a big help.

I'm guessing that you have 1.36 drives from the pitch you're running. With 1.5's, I would think you should be running 28's. The boat should run around 80mph with that power.

For reference, I was running a mildly labbed 26 Bravo on my single 550hp 28 pantera with a 1.5 ratio drive.

I would post this in the Pantera forum for some good responses.

I don't know about the plugs with those heads, but something in the same heat range as an AC R43T would be good. The R43TS is the extended tip version.

Thanks for the info, Griff... I guess I'll have to call the prev owner to find out more specifics about the heads. I'd rather not leave any power on the table provided the extended plugs have clearance.

As far as which drives I have, I'd be lying if I told you I knew. I'll try to find out.
