Angry Fueled for Ocean City

I saw the record price of crude oil today and decided I would fill up for the Ocean City trip next week. I figured for sure the pump price will be much higher by next week.

The one station I passed was already at $5.04 per gal for Diesel.

I saved .40 per gallon driving another mile up the road.

It still hurts though:

Cool

OUCH!!!!!!!! That makes me glad that I sold my F250 a few years back to Bern. But I did fill the new G35X today with regular and it cost me $60.00 and they say it is only going to get worse. Funny thing is there is no justification for Diesel being higher. It is the bottom of the barrel of oil, you know the left over SH@T!!!!!!!

I think we all need to bring a Jar of Vasoline to the pumps with us, otherwise our A$$es ar going to be really sore!!!!

DPT
ps. Sorry for ranting about this in a Racer's forum.

Pretty soon having a full tank of Gas will become a status symbol.

FYI for every body coming down thru new Jersey. Flying J just before Delaware Bridge is usually the cheapest fuel and gas around. And if you pull up to the RV pumps near the car gas island they will give you cash price for diesel even with a credit card. There is a sign for it off 295 but not the turnpike. Just get off the exit just before bridge and go back north 1/2 mile.
