Just got this email a few minutes ago froma good friend formerly with Baja.

Here is my e-mail address for now. My phone numbers all stayed the same. I am one of the last ones out at 5 today. It's been a tough week for everyone left. Talk to you soon and let you know where I pop up. Fountain has decided to go it alone, nobody from Baja is going.

It's official.

Reggie signed the paper work today and is the proud owner of the Baja name.

I wish Reggie would have reconsidered closing the plant. I hope all of the former Baja employees the best of luck and I hope they all can find quality work soon.

Reggie Fountain should be ashamed of himself. If he cared about people at all, he would have SLOWLY phased out the plant in Ohio over a year or so to give the people who made a livelihood there a chance to adjust. What a selfish P R I C K!

I think the fountain buying Baja deal is a bad thing, just personal opinion. I also know business is business, if Reggie bought the brand to spread out his overhead closing the plant in Ohio only makes sence finacially. On a postive note, at least you can still buy a Baja even if it's built by Reggie. Who knows maybe some good will come out of this?????

Good luck to the former Baja employees and there families.
