I heard that there was a 50 Cat launching at Hammond. Anyone have pics to post?????

Pics are all on Magic Medicine's camera. We tailed them out onto the lake and ran with them up to about 60, then right before they went thru the wall, they shut it down...some kind of charging problem...and we towed them in. Then I fell in the lake, so my phone is now dead.

The owner is Austin of Medicine Man fame...it'll be in Diversey harbor this summer. 170 mph on twin 1600 hp turbines. Pretty freakin cool.

It was not done purposely! It was done attempting to keep that monster from hitting a pole while docking. For some reason, one person pulling on a line doesn't have much effect on a 50-foot cat! Now that I think about it...this is the SECOND 50 foot Nortech I have fallen while trying to help dock! I went in at Diversey a few years back helping Steve Dowding bring his 50 V "Royal Flush" into a raft-up.

So, to all you guys with 50 foot Nortechs...I'll be excusing myself when you come in...please understand!
