Default Anyone know who has the white Fountain 42' Poker Run Edition?

Please let the owner of the all white Poker Run edition Fountain to slow down on the upper Fox River. Monday I was cruising 40 mph in the Skater when sliding around the tight bend was this Fountain (in front of board member Phil Bartman's house no less) at about 70 mph with open exhaust. We must police this ourselves to keep to the suggested 45 mph and with mufflers on the river or we will be toast for sure on the chain. PLEASE LET'S TAKE IT EASY!!!!!

That same boat was pulled over by McHenry county on Pistakee Lake a little later.

Man, I was up there everyday since Thursday except today and It was nice to see the boaters taking it easy down the river.
I agree we need to keep others in check or like Brad says...toast.

Great, another wild-wild-west cowboy up there, just what we need.

Same Fountain (??) was out on Sunday as well. I was overtaking a pontoon on the starboard side and this joker passed me (now three wide) at about 70 mph. He almost took out a Sonic coming up the river. Typical, he turned hard just before the no wake zone and headed back up the river hauling butt.

A friend told me he saw the guy on monday as well. My friend was running around 80 on Pistakee and this guy passed him at about 100. I guess he must be a newbie on the Chain. We definitely need to get him to slow down in certain spots. I'm sure the cops will be watching for him as it seems he has obviously made quite a splash !!!

Many performance boaters have offered to self impose a 45 mph limit on the river per the many discussions with the Waterway Agency. If we do not reel in the speed and noise on the upper river the Agency will do it for us. Our fear is once a speed limit is imposed on the river it will spread to the whole chain.

that realy suck's. besides i've been here in mchenry for 40 years now and i don't know of any accidents on the river so thats not a reason, so must be the damn tree huggers that want a speed limit. as far as noise i live on the river and enjoy hearing and watching the boats, again must be the tree-huggers. this country is losing to many freedoms.
