Just for your information: The Cape May-Lewes Ferry website is: www.CMLF.com
Make your reservation on line and don't be late. Friday 5/30/08, afternoon schedule leaving Cape May: 1:00pm, 1:45, 2:30, 3:30, 4:30 and 6pm.
I'm planning on catching the 4:30 boat, who else is coming at this time?

US 2 had the boat running great and now one motor has a miss and backfire? Think I have a bad wire or cap. Heading to the store in am and hope to get it straight before we leave. Boat is in the water in the back yard just waiting for daylight and some parts. Anyway if we miss sign in @ 4pm can we still do everything Saturday morning?

Bill,
Just picked up the engine (10 days ago) after a rebuild. The list of new parts is: Crank, pistons, rings, cam, roller rockers, bearings, valves, springs etc. The block was also decked, bored and aligned. What I didn't expect was the alternator and the starter both not working-it took some time to figure all this out. When that was figured out, the new headers didn't fit- they were hitting the valve covers.. Then of course the exhaust didn't fit the old cut out in the transom. But thanks to Vinny Lazzara, it all came together!!! Unfortunately, Vinny won't be able to make this race
I have Vinny reserved for Long Island, point Pleasant and Cambrdge. On Friday am we have to change out a leaking hose and mount the drive. Hope to see you in OC!
Go Fast, I remember your boat when it was "Hauling Glass" looking forward to meeting you.
