Default North Florida boat painter

Anyone know of any North Florida Boat painters? If not, any good (and decent priced) boat painters within 500 miles or so?

I live in Tallahassee. I have a 20' Donzi Minx (it's kinda a short 22 classic in case you don't know the boat) and I would like to get quotes for painting.

I'm looking for Awlgrip / Imron (or other high quality paint). I'm looking for a basic Donzi Classic paint job red/white/red stripe.

To be totally up front, I'm hoping to get a good deal because of the crappy economy...

Randy Corson is just outside of Daytona and does an excellent job. His screen-name is Wildman (both on OSO & S&F). If you do a search over on screamandfly.com you will find a ton of his paint jobs.

the boat has the hardware mostly stripped and it is mostly sanded.

it needs filler on the bow where it hits the trailer, one spot has stress cracks, and a bunch of snap holes filled in.

The dash and interior are pulled.

the hardware that is left is the drive, tabs, lifting rings, fuel filler. basically the stuff that is a pain to take off. I think masking around them is fine.

what kind of boat do you have? I didn't know anyone else was actually in Tally!

The only other performance boater I know of is Forrest over on Donzi.net.

If you are willing to bring it to Pompano Beach area, we can take care of it for you; and I will make sure it is competitively priced. If you make it over to Jacksonville this weekend, we'll chat.

Let me know. My contact info is in my signature, or shoot me a PM & we'll talk.

Don't know if you were directly involved with Dave's 28 Skater but AT did a hell of a job on his boat. Looks amazing.
