Anyone on here go to Lake Hopatcong in New Jersey? If so, how is it? I am going up there the weekend after next for my grandma's b-day and I am trying to decide if I want to bring my boat.

Speed limits on weekends, not sure if it is before or after Memorial day. On a nice weekend you can walk across the lake from boat to boat. I am not a regular there so I can't give specifics.

Very nice small scenic old fashion lake.... small ramps, speed limits and they have paddle wheel boats that cut the grass several feet below the waters surface.... very nice to putt around, that's about it...

its a good lake, not made for an extended boat ride as you can circle the whole lake in 15 minutes....30 mph speed limit from memorial day to labor day on weekend..state police which can be real ball breakers...with the high gas you will see a lot of patio boats and pwc's. Nice place, my family has had a house on it since 1925
