Default Vacuuflush/head question

I have a 38' Scarab (1998) that has a macerator pump and waste tank set up for the head. In the instruction manual it states there should be a seacock for water for the head, but I dont see one anywhere. I assume it uses water from the fresh water tank.Is this possible? Also the oveboard disharge handle wont move, does anybody know anything about these things, like the problems they have? Thanks,Mike

I think sometimes the discharge valve may stick due to hard water or salt deposits. Mine was pretty tough to turn but I got it opened. Maybe you could try some WD40 or similar lube to see if you can get it to turn. Just don't force it too hard or you could have a bad outcome. I can't get my macerator to empty the holding tank. All motors seem to work but the tank never empties even though the tank indicator light goes out briefly. Any ideas?

if you have a vacuflush head, they do draw water from the water tank, as far as the valve, by law those are supposed to be locked closed. it may be locked of probably just frozen from not being moved for years...Rob
