There's one in the trader for 52 with a 496 (not sure if its an HO). It has the "lightning" graphics in blue and yellow if you haven't seen it yet.
I've been looking for the exact same thing, but will be waiting till next year as our summer up here is about gone.

I feel your pain.
I live in Detroit and 95% of the boats I like are out west as well.
I guess that's to be expected if you want a cat in the 25-27 range, as they're all west coast.
Have you called to see if he'll go half way? It's been for sale for a while, so he might be willing to drive some?
Also, you could work out a deal to ship it, or ship it half way. I think I've heard $2 to $2.50 a mile for a hauler. If he comes down 2G's or so, that's 1000 miles shipped.
