LOL, I thought this was the baja thread at first. Its gonna take a lot more than some fancy fiberglass to get that boat up to 90 in 6-8's. I was good to do 40-50mph in the 4's I saw on Texoma a few weeks ago. That really put things into perspective for me.

Here's the how I figure wave heights: I take what I think it is when running, divide by 2 and round down. That's usually close to what the weather buoys report when I look them up after I get home

6 to 8's? . . . . 90? . . . . in a 30? . . . . uhmmm . . . i dont think so. I've hit the century mark plus in a 38 in race conditions in 3's maybe 4's. Beyond that your gonna need a lot of boat and there is no substitute for wave span, sorry but i have to be a little skeptical of the claim.
