i sent my 17 x 26 cleaver off to bret a while back
i was down 400 rpm with little bow lift doing 57 mph.
so bret rounded the tips and stuff i got them back
tried them on saturday past and my god what an improvement lots of bow lift better acceleration and a top speed of 64.3 mph and then to top it off i raced with it yesterday coming first easy

Brett is good, but definitely not a secret. You don't want to send your props in this time of the year - very long wait. With said, just got my props back and hope to give them a try.

When's the best time to send them in? I would assume...fall after boating? I got a 23 Mirage Plus I wanna get labbed.

i just called yesterday and was told a 2 - 2 1/2 week wait...

.....That doesn't seem all that bad..

I called a week ago and the wait was 4 weeks. I guess it's getting better.

The wait when I sent my props in was 6 weeks. Glad to see the wait time has come down to acceptable levels.

Bret has been fantastic for me too. I have had him work 2 sets of props, and my Dad had him refinish his 6 blade Herrings. Excellent job on both!
