Suggestions,Will This Cover My Ass?
Will this bill of sale cover me if there is a problem later on after the sale. I'm disclosing everything,I just want to cover myself.Any suggestions on the wording?Thanks,Rob

This should be better:
BILL OF SALE
I, (seller name & address) , in State of ______________, in consideration of, (dollar amount spelled out) ($ ), to be paid by
(Buyer name & address) , the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, sells, transfer and deliver as-is unto (buyer name) the following:

V.I.N. #
To have and to hold the same to (buyer) and his/her heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assign, to their use forever. And I hereby covenant with the grantee that I am the lawful owner of said goods; That they are free from all encumbrances; That I have good right to sell the same as aforesaid; And that I will warrant and defend the same against the lawful claims and demands of all persons.
It is provided, however, that Seller disclaims any implied warranty of condition, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Said goods being in their present condition "as is" and "where is."
This Bill of Sale shall be effective as to the transfer of all property listed in it as of April 17, 2008.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, this Bill of Sale is executed on this 17 day of April 2008
