What I need if anyone has chevy stuff laying around,
stock is fine, just looking to get boat back on the water.
all for a gen 6 502 big block
flywheel
balancer
windage tray
timing cover
Thru freinds donating some parts and some good ebay
buys tommorow I am off to the machine shop to make this bunch of parts an actual engine. I started with a gen 6 502 that needs to be bored and the crank turned , Doug (Boatally Insane) gave me a complete set of like new .30 over J&E forged pistons,
I dont know yet if I will reuse the stock Merc roller cam or get something else. being broke its not like I have a lot of options but maybe something will pop up.
.The heads are big oval ports that were already redone and ready to go with Crane springs and 1.8 roller rockers but I want to replace the exhaust valves with a set of Inconels which I also have The intake is a Dart single plane for the oval ports.

isince the boat has been laid up in my shop I decided to do
some updates to the interior and install the bolsters
I actually bought these a few months ago but once the engine blew I never got around to doing anything with them,
I need to dye them grey to match my interior , the white just doesnt blend in well.
Im also gonna powdercoat the stainless bases blue to match as well so was looking to see what Im looking at as far as cost to get them powdercoated and who would be good to use in central texas area.
