Looking at going with a buddy to the area this weekend. Is there a lot of boating on the 4th, Friday? If not what is the best day?

Probably be a few boats out but wouldn't expect it to be crowded. Sunday's always the biggest day around here but with everyone having Friday off Sat should be good too if the weather holds out. We'll be out Saturday but might be on the party barge. Tentative plan is to hit Blind River Bar and then go to the sandbar in lake Maurepas for the day.

Boat over to sun buns friday on the canal at Manchac. They will open at 11:00 am and stay open until everyone leaves that night. Supposed to have fireworks that nite. Usually a good time. Tell Lea the bartender that you are on OSO and who you are, she'll hook you up. Have fun!!

Where are y'all putting in Tom? We might run over to Prop Stop Saturday.

River rat Rob is putting on RatStock on the Diversion at the Wier Saturday.

Great guys hope to see you out. Will be in my bud's 40' Motion Cat. Yeah Sun Buns will be a definite stop. Probably won't make it up the diversion canal but will be in the lakes, Ticfaw, Sun Buns and Madisonville.

John, I think we will put in at the condo's on the Ticfaw down from Ticfaw Marina, can't remember the subdivision name but Howard has a lot of friends there.

Y'all staying with Don in Kingspoint? I think Croozen from the board lives in there also. As of now we're planning on getting to Prop Stop about 11:30 or so Saturday for burgers and then heading back to the lake to hang out for a while. Hope to see y'all out there.
