Default Trim Tab crapped out - need help

This weekend one of my tabs (K-Planes) decided it only likes going down. I can here the relay clicking but no motor running. I'm about 90% sure it's the relay. If only I had a nice little wiring schematic (hint, hint)

I would think that the wiring would be virtually the same as a trim pump. I would bet you could temporarily swap out your trim pump relay to check your k-plane operation.

It's most likely the solenoid Part# 89-96158T. The Red wire off of the pump is power, the green wire is for tabs down & the Blue wire is for tabs up, so it would be the solenoid with the Blue wire.

Check the grounds, my Formula had the same problem all it was was a crappy groung on the case not letting the full 12 volts and amps to the motor.

you can also get the relays from Napa
theres two different ones...one fits the older versions so bring one of your old ones along or take a pic of it and compare
Napa Part#'s 18-5815 and 18-5817
If memory serves me right it should be the 5817 number....the other may be for the starter solenoid on the back of the engine...
