Default merc hp500 seawater/fuel pump

doing a service and replaced my fuel pump, how much gear oil do i put back the pump ass. ?

Till the oil is even with the top fill plug. Use the Merc HP drive gear lube.

Side note:

You may have only 1 plug (some have 2) if so even to the top plug like they said!
