MCPA is hosting its third annual Haulin on Old Hickory Lake August 1-2. This run will benefit the VFW post 9851 and operation Spearhead. So come out, have some fun, and help support a great cause. This is the schedule of events.


Friday Aug 1
10:00 Lunch Run Downtown.
We will depart Anchor High Marina, lock through the damn to the Cumberland river to get to downtown Nashville where we will dock at Riverfront . Lunch will be at Joes Crab Shack.

1:00 Raft Up
For those who didn’t go on the lunch run, there will be a raft up at Skinny Dip Cove.

6:00 Meet and Greet
The Meet and Greet will be at Anchor High Marina. There will be appetizers served for participants. Registration will begin at that time.

Saturday Aug 2
8:00 Breakfast and registration will start at Anchor High Marina
10:00 drivers meeting will begin.
10:45 The VFW has arranged a flyby over the damn!
11:00 The Run begins
6:30 Dinner and party at the VFW

whats a good place to put in on old hickory, i would be coming west on I24. Is there enough room at anchor high marina or is there others close by?

There is a great ramp in the cove by Anchor High Marina on Rockland Road. We have arranged for overnight boat storage at the VFW. It's in a side lot, lights but out of sight. If you are staying at the Holiday Inn they have room but limited.
