I finally did it. I just finished a deal on a '07 Cobalt 252 w. 496 MAG. This boat is beautiful! I will always lust after a 38' Cigarette but until I make that kind of coin, this is the next best thing in my opinion!
Anyways, insurance...
On $83K (new replacement value) I got a quote of $680 a year
On $65K (price out the door) I got a quote of $620 a year
Do these sound right for the dollar amounts insured?

This is my second, but not my last Cobalt by ANY means.
In IL Lawsuit crazy county I live in and also where I only boat for 3 months, my premium is about $900 w/1000 deduct. No accidents.
sounds to me u got a good deal.
