Default fuel sender calibration

Guys,

I have a 35 Fountain Ex with twin, saddle 75 Gal tanks. One sender was a little off, and the other needed a wire repaired. How do you calibrate the transducers?

They have a range and a minimum adjustmet. I am assuming you need to apply a voltage to simulate the low/hi levels of the sender and the corresponding voltage?

Or do you measure resistance and calibrate to a particular curve?

Thanks,
Zack
