Default $1000.00 worth of gas

You ask how many people we know that quit boating.
A question that goes with that one is, how long does it take you to burn a $1000.00 worth of gas or diesel or jet fuel?
This should be interesting for some of the monster engined boats.

Over the 4th we took the boat out twice (started out full) for a few hours each day, cost 250 to fill it at 435$ a gallon to get ready for this weekend BUT we had my nieces and family in the boat so we kept it out of boost,at that rate it would last me 3-4 weekends of boating, with some full throttle runs more like 2 or 3,Smitty
The 100$ to fill the truck each weekend would help burn it up alot quicker though at 488$ a gallon

Cost $400 to fill it, usually last 2-3 weekends depending on how far we go. Usually about 50 miles a weekend and itll last 3 weekends doing that. unless its a poker run weekend then itll usually only last for one weekend.

One tank runs me just over $800 and if were running it'll last the weekend. If just cruising out to the islands, then 2-3 weekends.

60 gallons per hour @ $4.50 per gallon

3 hours and 45 minutes

.....and that's at cruise

There is a way around it. We've been taking shorter boat rides and just staying closer to home. For me....it's about being on the water!!!
