Well ... if I had been there I would have but Im in Ohio and went to Michigan and posted quite a few pics I took there of the OPA race. So .... I tell you what ... next time ... buy me a ticket, fly me there and I'll post all about it. Deal?

You are talking about the catalina ski race-right?Most of the chatter was on performance boats .coms web site.The rum run on sunday had 18 entries of which 10 finished.

I was there Mike J......I pulled a skier in the Catalina ski race but could not stick around for the Rum Run. I don't have any pics, was busy driving :-)

I participated in Saturdays race as well...we had 2 or 3 helicopters on us a couple of times and I wish I knew where the hell I could see what they did??

The only thing I found today was a video that was posted on a Catalina Island website...I did a google search for 2008 catalina ski race and there was a video taken from the shore capturing the boats making the turn at the island.

I am sure there will be more posts in the coming week.

Saw the Rum Run on sunday and Mike Defrees in the CRC MTI took the win again this year.

I got pictures but my OSO membership expired and I haven't renewed yet so I can't post any. I guess I'll pony up and renew a standard membership and post up what I've got. This is the first chance I got to go online since the weekend.

Look in the Cigarette section in Tank's post about congrats to Kevin & Brian. He's got some shots in there.

I was there sat and sunday , sat was a great ski race and sunday was a great race , wish more of the ski race guys would have came over for the free race on sunday bit oh well maybe next year!
