Default What companies rent one way trucks to tow?

Are there any companies that rent one way truck rentals that can tow a 28' - 6000lb boat?
Oklahoma to California.

Ryder and Penske both have 16ft box trucks w hitches. Should work for a 6k boat no problem. And the box makes a good wind break for the boat.

Balls are welded on, and are usually 2". Shank is only 3/4". Don't ask how I know.

You can rent an expedition for $270 one way Lauderdale to Cleveland, fact. Has factory towing package so you can use whatever size hitch you need.

check the rental contract, when I had the pickup in the body shop this winter I rented a truck to go snomobling and I made the comment to the girl at Enterprise I needed a truck with a hitch and she said the rental contract doesn't allow for towing. Obviously if you have no issues no ones really going to know but if you do it can be a real PIA. Ended up using the wifes Suburban to tow just in case since the damage to my truck had been caused by the sled trailer jacknifing.

We bought our Top Gun in Texas, and live in NJ, i thought it might be cheaper if we flew to Texas, than rented a Box truck to tow, found out it was not cheaper than hiring a Boat tower , and the rental companies did not want you towing . just my 2 cents

I too found it cheaper to fly in, buy and then send a transporter to tow back.
