We are heading to Destin 8-1-08 for the first time to see some friends (unfortunatly not during the poker run) so for I am looking at Legendary Marina for dry storage any thoughts or opinons would be appreciated and also is there anything out of the ordinary to be aware of while boating there?? Also any recomendations on bars/resturants to go to by boat or places to anchor out would be cool.

Legendary is the only dry storage in destin that i know of.

Places to go by boat Woody's, Aj's in destin, Hell n back on the island, are your best bet.
Anchor: Crap island at the destin bridge is the most popular.

Things to watch out for ur depth tons of sandbars u can be 500 ft from the beach in some spots be only 2ft of water.

Going out the pass into the gulf can be kinda ruff some big rollers come through there.

I'd stay away from crap island but crab island is pretty cool and yes be carefull in the pass...
