Default 38 KV Scarab

Hey guys I just picked up a 38 KV a couple of months ago It has sat for a long time and am finally bringing her back to life. It has the stock 420 merc motors and trs drives. what kinda speeds are you other KV owners seeing with similar setups?? what prop seems to work best and at what RPM?? What speed should I see from this boat with this power??

thanks Brad

You don't happen to want to sell the Radar Arch do you? Seb is looking for one!

I was thinking about selling mine, but would probably be killed by the Miami Vice Geek squad.

Hi Randy,
I'm all set, thank you. Next project will be Jim's boat! I'll send you some pics of how it is today at the harbor, ready to leave the USA.. You can put them on this bulletin.
Have a great day, cheers, seb

Default Drive height/Trim

Im just wondering if all of the 38 KV's with TRS Drives have an very high X Dimension??
I have a very hard time getting on plane in my boat. Once I get on plane I can barely trim the drives to a neutral setting anything higher than that and the props blow out ayone else experiance this?? this is with 24 pitch B1 4 blades, Its much worse with 3 blade Mirage plus
