Well my boss called at 6am this morning and the dealership is without power due to the trop. storm. So I get to hang out around the house and have a day off!! only very minor damage around Beaumont so far, and at least my power is on!! maybe I can get my post count up!!

Just some med rain right now. don't think you have anything to worry about. We have thunderstorms worse than this.

They said the heavy rain bands will be hitting down town around noon.

dont thank you have any thing to worry about, wind gusts are only hitting 60 around here with av. of around 20 to 35 mph. and the rain fall is not that bad maybe 1/2 to 1 inch per hour

29Scarab...... I live in League City (Friendswood side) and it has only been light rain for a few hours. There is no worries at all.

Sorry about the power outage ,We can't help this time but we may have gotten you lights back on after Rita . We flew into La (Louisiana) And drove into Beaumont to work after Rita.

My power was out for 12 days after Rita in westend of Beaumont, I was lucky cause some of the small towns near Beaumont were out for 3 to 4 weeks!! I bet you had a nice overtime check on that outage
