Default Wierdo question

This is an odd question but hopefully the OSO gods will have some info. Long story short, I bought my boat with this "docking station" already installed. I think it is for a GPS or some type of navigational unit. Can anyone tell me just by the docking station what it might be for or brand name. I looked for a serial number or model number to search and it doesn't have any. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I didn't know if this looked familiar to anyone or if anyone had this unit installed on their boat. Dave

If you don't have any luck here print those pics and take them to your local marine store, likely someone there can identify it.

My VHF has a dock for a GPS unit. It looks like his has a 11 or 13 pin slide connector built into the cradle. I don't think the 12XL has that.
