So what was the number this year for the Team Kansas Saber? I saw an 85 mph pass but missed the last part of Sunday's footage.

It was a great weekend!!! Great Event!! I really liked the new location!!!

Our goal for the weekend was 85 and we ended up running 86 on Sunday, the gps showed a little more but peaked past the radar guns. Then for our last run we took the boat and ran up the lake quite a ways to burn some fuel off and came back to the start boat with just enough fuel for one last pass, but found we had a bad plug and didn't have the time to fix it. So we put her on the trailer and called it a day.... I would have liked to run again just to see what we could have got, maybe another mph or two..... All in all I was real proud of the boat!! It took a good set and ran straight and true.....

BTW, the reason I wanted to go back out is, my 86 sounded real cool until a PONTOON ran 89mph!!!

Thanks Mike!! Great job on the "play-by-play" it helps to have an insider up in the booth!!! Sorry we didn't get a chance to visit over the weekend and I'm sorry if I didn't get my info to you but we were thrashing to get the boat done up until we left for the lake!!! I figured you remembered a lot from the "years" before....
Next time they need you walking the docks doing interviews!!!
