1999 Baja 252, 454 mag, with captins call exhaust. I want to know if i can change the tips out to make it louder when its going through the hull. i can make it quite with the switch so when I want it loud i can make it LOUD. but how do i find out if it has a muffler, or if it is allready as loud as it is going to get? any help....when i look in the tips, not it has external flaps and internal flaps,.

Look inside the tip if you can see all the way to the flapper its already open. If you look inside and its blocked where you cant see inside than its a muffler tip witch Baja's cam with. I have some tips in stock for 79$ each with internal flapper and polished stainless.

A lot of the smaller Baja's came with insert mufflers in the tips. There should be one short 5/16 bolt through the bottom of the tip that holds the insert in place. Undo it , slide the insert out, and give er hell!
