I know most of the time boat speeds are over exagerated, but these speeds in my boat have been confirmed with gps in my 26ZX and I have never heard of a 26zx get this speed with a 454mag. Half fuel driver and passanger I have been able to get 64 MPH on 2 different garmen GPSs, the other strange thing about this is my boat also has bottom paint which I have heard should slow me down also?? Has anyone else seen these speeds from a 1999 26ZX with a 454mag EMI manifolds,SS risers and K&N, 23p REV 4

You do have one of the quicker ones, but I have seen that in the past. Depending on how the boat was layed up it may be a whisker lighter. They are all different. The weights are approximate only & based on an average. Also your lightened upgraded exhaust is heloing you a little bit as well. Your x dimension may be a little different as well. Yes the paint also usually does slow one down, but if it is fresh & smooth it may not be hindering at the present time if it is acting like a hull with a 400-600 grit scuffed surface.. Jamie

Mine was able to get around 61 when I had a 454 mag in it.
They are all a little different. The same goes for handling. I have heard of some with chine walk problems above 80 mine rides like it is on rails in the 90's. At least until you hit funny water then it gets out of shape pretty bad.
