Default Thinking about doing something different... opinions

Hey guys, I've been thinking about selling the 28 and doing something a bit different (I've got a couple ideas, but we'll wait and see how this all goes, before I waste time flapping my gums about that).

Anyhow, I'm really looking to see what people think is a fair price. I was thinking $35k for less power (with the fresh from Imco drive, the exhaust and all the marine accessories). I could also probably do something with a blue merc 500 efi (my buddy is selling one) but I don't have a clue on how I'd price it with power (mine or someone elses).

What do you guys think?

I'm thinking if you lived on the east coast. It would already be sold.

Rick, you think I'm in the ball park on the pricing?

Wouldn't be too much trouble to get the boat to the east coast if someone wanted it...

I think your high. For $40K you can get one running with twins. Have you done anything to the interior? I'm thinking $25-30K.

Has anyone compiled recent confirmed sales to see what they are going for with current conditions ??

Seems like a few Pantera's have sold recently, might be good info to know if everyone who is aware of a recent sale would post it up here !!

On a trailer, with the IMCO drive........absolutely. $30,000 would be a steal. You could sell that easily here on the East Coast. It's actually worth more without power, because I always expect a rebuild. I bought mine without power and without a drive, but I also had everything pulled from my Velocity and installed turnkey.

I think 30-35 would get it gone.
From what i know of DS, it should be as clean as it gets.
For 15-20k you could put something nice in there to get it moving.
So for 45-50 you could have a great boat w/ (your)new power.

I think 30-35K is a fair price, but the market is tough these days.
I would have definately paid 30K for her last year when I was looking. This year?
I bought Rick's old boat without power for 24K. This year I could have probably bought the same boat with power for 24K.

What year? How many hours on hull? How does it show?

That will determine the price.

Guys this is all helpful input. I apprreciate it and keep it coming!

It's a 1996, 500 hours on the hull. Boat is in very nice shape.

Kirk, you already get yours sold?
