500 EFI mechanical fuel pump
Im changing the impellers on my engines so I also changed the oil in the pump, I had a little gas in the oil which is telling me its leaking. I went ahead and filled it up with oil, now I have a little oil leaking out of the vent on the mechanical pump. I also can spin the pump and a oil gas mixture comes the vent. Just needing reinsurance that the pump is bad...

You can and will have some odor in the oil. If it is, in fact exiting the vent...Yes the pump is bad!
