Default Hanna coming -get your boat off lift now?

What are you folks doing now that a possible tidal surge is predicted in mid atlantic area [aprox 3-4 feet on Chesapeake Bay]? Get boat off lift and on land or raise up the lift and ride out? It is a close call. If 4'plus and waves , I'll definitely look for transient land storage. Anyone else out there thinking about this?

The only one I need to move is our jetski. Ernesto almost lost it for us because I did not take it off the lift when I should have. It will be on a trailer this time. The other "toys" will be secured as well.

Great thread. Hope all heed its intentions and better safe than sorry

Isabel caused a 9 ft surge up the James all the way to Richmond. Tore up all kinds of places and our river house wasn't destroyed, but we had alot of cleaning up to do. Our home is further inland and our boat stays in the garage everynight......Luckily I don't have to do anything different for Hanna. No need in chancing it if you have any other option!!!!
