I really like the part about unbolting a bravo and bolting on a alpha. Must be a different model than the one I had in mine when we removed the alpha, cut a completely different hole in the transom, changed inner and outer and put on a bravo.

Not defending td a bit but isn't the bravo gimball just 2 studs extra? The hole should be the same , at least with a late alpha.

The Alpha will bolt directly up to the bravo just remove the bravo bell install a Alpha bell and the Alpha shift cable.
