Over the weekend we talking about some of those
pulling motors.
Someone was talking about a Diesel truck pulling class and this certain truck had a V8 or V10 with two HUGE turbochargers, one on each bank . I wonder what kind of HP and torque that puts out.

I don't own a digital camera. Next time I'm out there (in about three weeks to pick up my heads) I'll see what I can do!!!!

Didn't mean to lead any of you on....sorry.

Cool

OK FOWL -- what did you do to your heads --- spill it. Did you relieve the cylinder wall by the valves?

Hey Steve. I haven't done anything. But I do plan to relieve the block around the exhaust valves, yes. You got a grinder and some time?

Keep in mind that all that hp will get you about a hundred yards, a far cry from the typical expectation of a boatowner, who at least wants to get to AND BACK from Saugatuck at least once before blowing them to smithereenies. Personally, I think a pair of big-blocks with picture windows in the sides make unique end tables.

I was fortunate to see that motor on Earhart's dyno late last summer. Quite the treat! Gotta love those turbos.
