no thats a wood apache cat the halter is alum. it was the one auctioned at the bobby moore auction on 188th st some 10 years ago

As I recall, the Halter cat sunk in its one and only race...New Orleans...1981 or so.

I remember that auction. I don't think they sold a whole lot... crazy reserves..

I saw the #8 boat in a poker run to key west in 2000. There was a smaller one as well that had the same paint job. maybe check with fla powerboat club?
