I can answer this from personal knowledge, every time someone has built a new marina on the Saginaw river they have pizzed and moaned until they got there section of the river turned into a NO-WAKE zone, even when their marina is sheltered from the river. Now it takes 1 1/2 hours to get to the mouth vs what used to be 45 minutes and Brennans/Skipper buds is the FARTHEST one up the river,1/2 the slip renters moved closer to the mouth/bay,in turn the place is only half full and their business is DYING so they are no longer keeping the place up which in turn is causing them to loose MORE slip rentals. The new owners don't care because they know they can sell it for millions eventually for river front condo's,Smitty

Liberty marina next to Hooters is a great marina, the docks are good and everything is well maintained also you are within walking distance to alot of bars and resturants. At Skipper Buds ( Brennans ) theres cars involved to do this after a long day of boating.

Not to mention that Skipper Buds is infamous for firing all the people that made a marina reputable, and hiring min. wage people to replace them. They have no clue.

The reason I ask is there is a late 80's formula on the sag river with pink flamingos on the side and I thought it was a guy from bay city that did some heat treating for me on some outdrive gears,is that your boat,Smitty
