thanks, very cool. Love the vintage footage thrown in there. That was one of the funnest races i have ever done. Loosing sight of land was a high point for me, also navigating on compass. We chose not to gps it (mostly cuz we couldnt figure out how to program the damn thing).

Neat video. I kick my self in the AZZ for not going over to see the race and the legends but i was going through legal problems with my son at the time.
Going to try to enter the race next year though.

Just a point of information here.....HORBA will not be involved with this Bimini race in 2009..... and the Don Aronow name will not be used for this 2009 race either.
We feel that there is an authentic desire for real open ocean racing again, and the HORBA Board and members have put together our own racing plan for 2010 and beyond...more info on the HORBA site.
