Question In Trouble

I realize this has nothing to do with boating, well maybe it does because if I screw this up it could be a long time before any boating happens. But here goes. The wife and I will be married for 4 years tomorrow. She had a great idea of a max gift of $20 bucks. Guys I’m drawing a blank here and I need some help on this. Do you guys have any ideas.

$20 bucks, yea right. Do you really think that $20 bucks will make her happy? You can't buy a dozen roses for $20 bucks. I have been married for 31 years and even as nice is my wife is to put up with my sorry azz, $20 bucks would never cut it!

I'm really trying to stay with HER idea of it meaning more if it comes from the heart (stupid women) It would be much easier to buy something. I'm clueless

Go to one of those "Things Remembered" stores in the mall and get a nice picture frame with something sappy engraved - then slip a picture in there - oh, and get a nice card, broads love that.

Or just ignore the 20 dollar limit!!!!

A card with somethng personal written in it works wonders with my GF. Couple it with a massage kit or bath kit.

half a tank of gas

Whatever you do, don't forget a very thoughtful card!!!!

post up in the off topic section or "Bilge Forum" see what responses you get. You can definitely find something for about $20. take a trip to the mall, you'll be able to find something. Things to Remember store is a good start. Maybe flowers??? 1800-flowers not exactly ideal but hey just throwing idea's around, its sweet and simple.

For 20 bucks, I could but a nice bottle of wine, some cheese & crackers & spend a quiet evening out back with a couple logs in the fireplace. Candles in the garden, etc Plus, I'd do some things like making sure the house was straightened up- things that are out of charachter for me.

Or- a picnic lunch and a walk in the park one nice Saturday afternoon. Whatever it is, it needs to be out-of-charachter for you.

Yeah, this crap sounds semi-gay, but it works. My 21'st is this Friday and I've bailed myself out of some deep $hit over the years with stuff like this. Judging from the boat you have listed in your profile, you could probably drop a couple grand on her and she wouldn't blink. The $20 idea is bait for you to do something out of the box. Don't fail.

The boat is a almost done deal. So I really can't screw this up. I swear she did this before the boat thing was done so I had to really think
