I have a 502 with a crane 168731 cam what exhaust should I use or not use, I don't want to use headers or a dry exhaust. I want to stay away from reversion and also on a budget . I don't have diverters or mufflers just internal check valves in the tips. Thanks for any input Alec.

I'm going to run that same cam and although I haven't bit the bullet yet, I'll be running GLM or a Lightning exhasut no mufflers etc. I've been told the only way I'd get 'reversion' with that set up is to stick a fire hose up the exhaust!
The 731 apparently came stock with one of the crate engines so I can't imagine there'd be any problems.
Do you have flappers for tips?

I am running a n eddie marine exhaust on my 650hp 509 with a bigger cam then yours,no problems,it is for sale if you want it,new in june 08 ,let me know.

Fairly mild cam- I wouldn't run it with stock Merc manifolds but just about anything else...
