We took our big Regal out on the Bay Sturday to see this thing come under the Golden Gate. She had about 30' between the masts and the bridge deck. This rig is unreal, you can't quite tell the scale of it unless you get up close.

Not much of a blowboat fan either but this one kind of stands out. Plus he's got a pair of Deutz TBD 620s to push it along when the winds not blowing.

It's fully automated so no one needs to be on deck when she's under sail. It was cool to see her blow by while we where having lunch.

I believe that's the 'Maltese' Falcon.

you are correct on that one, I don't know why I keep calling it by the wrong name. You would have thought the 4' high letters on the transom would have tipped me off.
